We hold regular donation drop off days in the Cambridge area: Our next donations drop off will be on Saturday 11th November, between 10.30 and 12.00 at Endurance House, Vision Park, Chivers Way, Histon CB24 9ZR.
You can also bring donations to the Daily Bread Cooperative in Kings Hedges during their opening hours. If you have a large amount to donate, or to arrange a time and location outside the store’s opening hours, please email email@example.com. Please also do get in touch if you have a potential venue we could use for future drop off days – e.g. a church or village hall, sports club or community centre.
What we need
We always require blankets, sleeping bags, phones with chargers, torches, and small and medium men’s clothes – especially hats, scarves and shoes.
As most of our donations are delivered to the Help Refugees warehouse in Calais, we ask that anything you donate is on their needs list – click here.
Anything that cannot be used by refugee organisations will be donated to local charities.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters to carry out our work. We need to raise money to support our convoys and to buy food and other items vitally needed to support refugees.
We do not pay for staff or offices – everyone who carries out our work does so on a voluntary basis. We only work with trusted refugee groups that we have personal contact with on the ground and we take great care to ensure all the money we spend directly benefits refugees.
If you would like to support our work you can do so through our MyDonate page by clicking the link below. If you would like to do more and organise a fundraising event then get in touch with our fundraising team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
