CamCRAG has donated £4,000 to purchase tents, blankets and other essentials for refugees trapped in Moria camp, on the Greek island of Lesvos.

On Saturday morning a team of CamCRAG volunteers, aided by some machinery, loaded the tents, sleeping bags and roll mats you have cleaned, repaired and sorted over the summer onto a truck bound for the continent.

CamCRAG is looking for a new donations coordinator. The role involves managing the collection, sorting and storing of physical donations, and ensuring they are delivered to Calais or elsewhere, usually via our weekend volunteer convoys.
CamCRAG would like to thank everyone involved in the amazing Tentfest earlier this month. Over 70 volunteers sorted, checked, repaired and labelled almost 300 tents salvaged from music festivals, while enjoying some excellent food and good vibes throughout the day.
