SOS tent being built

The SOS tents project held a successful workshop this week, trialing the design worked out over last summer.

Volunteers built nine tents out of tarpaulin, bamboo and tape. These will be put to the test at The Big Sleepout in two weeks’ time, when some of CamCRAG’s sponsored sleepout volunteers will spend a cold January night in one. They will then be taken to Calais for further testing.
