Michael Rosen is back in town!

Following the success of last year’s ‘Yours Hopefully’ concert with ReSound Choir in aid of CamCRAG, Michael Rosen is back in March with a new show for children and their adults.

This special Cambridge family-friendly concert will take place on Monday 11 March at 6pm at Great St Mary’s as a fundraiser for three local charities, including CamCRAG!

Historyworks is organizing this concert stuffed with Poetry and Song for the young in age and the young at heart, with performances by Michael Rosen sharing his stories and poems and action songs. The concert will be an uplifting participatory event, suitable for all ages to join in from babes in arms to toddlers to youngsters to elders who enjoy rhythm and rhyme.

This is an unticketed event, with seats on a first come first served basis. Instead of tickets, donations will be collected for charities chosen on the theme of ‘Torn from Home’ supporting the homeless locally and young people and children homeless internationally.

A book stall will be provided by Heffers with Michael Rosen’s poetry and story books for children and adults on sale, donating 20% of book sales for the charities. Michael Rosen will be signing books from 5pm before the concert, and also after the event.

More information about the event can be found on the ‘Creating my Cambridge’ website
