Despite a rainy start to the morning, the sun broke through and we had perfect weather for our Winter Fair in the grounds of St Giles’ Church on Saturday 19th December.
We raised £1256.30, all of which will go to support refugees in Europe this winter.
Highlights included a tea and coffee stall with delicious homemade cakes and buns, a raffle for a magnificent hamper, and stalls selling arts and crafts, books, merchandise made by refugees in Greece, Christmas cards and CamCRAG ponchos.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents, crafts, cakes, and donations to make the Winter Fair such a success. A big ‘thank you’ too to St Giles’ Church for the use of the church for the Fair, and for their continued support.
