Following last week's devastating fire on Lesvos which destroyed Moria refugee camp, CamCRAG is asking for your support to help the thousands of refugees now once again homeless.
News
As restrictions begin to be lifted, we are hoping to restart our operations to support refugees in Northern Europe.
Thank you to everyone who kindly donated tents, sleeping bags and mats over the Glastonbury weekend.
Next weekend, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June, CamCRAG is collecting tents from the Cambridge area for refugees in Europe. If you have an unwanted one to four man tent please email volunteer@camcrag.org.uk and we'll arrange a time slot on either day to pick up your tent.
Thank you to all the musicians who took part in our livestream concert on Saturday, and to all of you who watched and donated.
CamCRAG now has a channel on YouTube, with a few videos about our previous convoys and other fundraising events.
Some of the online events happening in and around Refugee Week that may be of particular interest to CamCRAG volunteers and supporters - you can find a full list of nationwide activities and further information at refugeeweek.org.uk.
CamCRAG would like to extend a big thank you to Downing Place URC for another generous donation of £1200.
Due to the ongoing crisis, we are cancelling all events until the end of May: We are currently reviewing whether or not we can continue with June's convoy. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY DONATIONS TO OUR DROP OFF LOCATIONS WHILE GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS ON NON-ESSENTIAL MOVEMENT ARE IN PLACE
We were delighted to receive a very generous donation of £500 from the Richmond Road Residents Association. Thank you!
