Annual General Meeting

17 October 2019

7.30 to 9.30pm

St Barnabas Church, Mill Road, Cambridge CB1 2BD

Everyone is invited to CamCRAG’s Annual General Meeting and Get Together at St Barnabas Church on Mill Road, 7.30pm on Thursday 17 October. The evening will include presentation of the annual report and accounts, election of new trustees by CamCRAG members, and talks from guest speakers. Excellent Syrian snacks and other refreshments will be available.

This year our guest speakers include:
Mark from Utopia56, who will talk to us about the work the French association does in Calais, Paris, Lille and other parts of France. In Calais they distribute aid, take refugees to hospital if needed, and run the ‘Local’ day centre: This gives refugees a bit of respite and dignity, and tries to help them improve on their current situation.
Amber from Donate4Refugees will discuss the situation in Greece. Donate4Refugees is a UK charity which collects funds on behalf of front line refugee support organisations. She goes to Greece regularly to monitor the crisis and current needs, and will be returning from Greece shortly before our AGM.

Doors 7.15pm – please arrive promptly.
