Hosted by CamCRAG as part of Refugee Week. NaTakallam is an award-winning, woman-founded, social enterprise that promotes cultural exchange by engaging refugee Conversation Partners as online language tutors, translators and guest speakers.

Our Conversation Partner for Refugee Week will be Hadiya, who is in her thirties and is originally from Qamishli, Syria. She now lives as a refugee in Erbil, Iraq, with her husband and two children. She previously worked as a social worker and studied English Literature at university. In her free time, she loves reading novels, playing basketball, and doing Zumba.

If you’d like to join in the conversation to hear about Hadiya’s experiences and perhaps learn a bit of Arabic, please email catharine@camcrag.org.uk to receive a link to the online meeting. Please note spaces are limited.
