We’re making more ponchos for refugees in France, from 10am to 5pm on Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January! If you can help with sewing or cutting for an hour, or all day, please come along.
It would be good to get an idea of numbers, so if possible email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm which day you are attending, whether you are sewing and/or cutting, and whether or not you can bring a sewing machine.
Friday 5 January – St Luke’s Church, Victoria Road, CB4 3DZ
Saturday 6 January – Chesterton Methodist Church, Green End Road, CB4 1RW
Sunday 7 January – Cambridge Art Works, 5 Green’s Road, CB4 3EF
If you cannot attend any of these sessions but would like to help, you can collect blankets in multiples of 5 from:
Cambridge – Kirsten Lavers – email@example.com
Swaffham Bulbeck – Jane Goodland – firstname.lastname@example.org
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A REVISED PDF SEWING PATTERN – this will be sent to you via email, but if you don’t have a printer let us know and we can provide a hard copy.
LAST TIME WE MADE 127 PONCHOS… THIS TIME WE ARE AIMING TO SEND OUT 300 WITH OUR CONVOY ON 12 JANUARY – SO LET’S GET SEWING!
